On Wednesday, April 15th, DKG members and Canada fans had the privilege to experience an intimate concert with Matt Epp and bass guitarist Joel Couture.
The event took place in one of Idstein’s oldest historic houses. A cozy and rustic timber frame building that the owners rent out for special events.

On tour in Germany, one of the rising stars of the Canadian music scene, stopped by in the Rhein-Main area, offering an exclusive house concert to present his new CD Luma. Those present had the chance to enjoy soft sounds, strong lyrics and hear a many great anecdotes about how those songs came about.
A house concert has the great advantage of close interaction and provides the opportunity to talk to the artists personally. It lets the musicians share their songs without the help of a microphone and hence be in very close rapport with the audience. This was welcomed and well appreciated by all participants.
